Not a bad place to start. Gotta love those GMC High Sierra's. What are your plans for the truck ? How far do you want to go with it ?
-
Well,
I'm not really sure exactly how far I'm gonna go with it. I bought the truck about 4 years ago for 500 bucks. I bought it with the thought of a mountain/trail type truck. I just rebuilt the 400 small block that was in it. It needed a new head gasket and since I didn't know much about the motor, as the P.O. had swaped it in out of an older 'Burb and thought it was a 350, I just decided to rebuild it.
Right now I'm planning on putting new 1/4's, and doors on it. I already have a decent hood, and the bed is off of a, 83 or newer chevy? Once everything is swaped on and straight, I'm gonna try my hand at spraying some of the Dupli-Color Paint Shop metallic silver. Nothing fancy, just want it to look decent.

You do relize that once you start, it is hard to stop.

Oh I do realize this, and so does my wallet. This is the third sqaurebody I've owned, but it is actually the first I've decided to take this far. The other ones just got lifted and put into decent working order.
