Post by: 78Stepside on March 16, 2003, 10:08:00 am
I have a 78 C/15 Stepside, and i am looking to get used leaf springs.  What year is the best year to swap from. What year had the best springs.

You need to mesure from the center bolt to the center of the eye at each end and find some to match. There are a few diferent lengths. By the time you get done screwing around with used springs you would be money ahead buying new ones. If you want more load capacity you can specify that when buying them. Around here for you truck it would be about a $110 per side including eye bolts, and U-bolts.
