Hello guys
Well I've been looking into rebuilding a 350 for my 88 Camaro, and this weekend I found a 350, a 700r4, and a possi track diff plus other parts online from a guy in Tucson for 250 bucks so I fired up my 78 step side filled her up with fuel and took off. It’s a 600+ mile trip and I have to say she kicked butt; it was the 1st time I drove her out that far, here are some pictures
I changed my tires for the one on my brother’s truck because mine are too wide and rub the fenders

Pretty cool. I love a good road trip. Sounds like a good deal on the parts too. Making it back with no problems is great as well.

It is always good to know that your truck can make that long of a road trip and not have problems.

Hot dang, who doesn't like a good road trip??? Way to go !!
P.S. Did you buy the parts? ;D

Thanks guys, yeah I was happy for the way she behaved, I wasn’t going fast at all maybe 60-65 but slowly but surely she made it
lol yeah I got the parts, now comes the fun part deciding what I’m going to go with, for now I know I’m going for the vortec heads, edelbrock intake, edelbrock carb, I’m still deciding on the cam, what would you guys recommend, it’s going to be a 350, with a t56 into a 3rd gen Camaro, I don’t want it too wild, I still want to be able to drive it everyday
