I have a 75 GMC Sierra Classic and i want to give her a little lower ride. I don't want to slam it so i am thinking about cutting my springs. Does the ride quality suffer that much if i only want to lower it 1 or 2 inches? Will an alignment straighten everything out if i cut the springs (will tires wear even)? how much should i cut off for a 1" lower, 2" lower? For the rear, would it be better to take off a leaf or get shackles? How much does taking 1 leaf off lower the truck? I just want all the information before i jump into things. i appreciate anyones help.
