I'm trying to get the front clip off of a '79 pickup, I know the bolts are located in different spots then the more familiar to me 81-87 trucks. So I'm wondering where all th bolts are. Thanks

There are two bolts at the core support, one on either side of the frame.
For the fenders (either side):
one bolt near the top of the fender inside the door opening
one at the bottom of the fender, goes through a metal tab at the bottom of the cowl and into the fender.
one at the inside top of the fender bolting into the cowl.

I sure appreciate it, I could see those. I just needed to hear that was all of them. Thanks

IIRC there's one through the inner fender from the bottom into the cab bottom. or maybe that's on 81-up. Something to look out for anyway.

So I got the clip off this afternoon, real ball buster for two guys. I found a total of 12 bolts. I couldn't believe it.
This count is per side
-1 in the door jamb
-1 at the cowl
-1 at the bottom of the fender to bottom of cab
-2 in the inner fender to cab
-1 at the core support to frame
Thank goodness this wasn't a rust bucket, all the bolts broke loose with ease.
