hey there, i have a 1976 chevy c10 stepside and i want to lower it 4in up front and 6in out back.... i have some stock rims that are 8in wide is it ok if i put 275/60/15 out back and 255/60/15 out front, i dont want to have the tires rubbing on the fender or the control arm.. ... its kinda like what they did in this article.. check it out.. http://www.customclassictrucks.com/featuredvehicles/0709cct_1974_chevy_c10/viewall.html any info would be great thanks...

My 1973 pickup had 275/60/15's all the way around and it was lowered 4/6.

i assume you never had a problem with suspension or anything then... what kind of rims did you use... the width of the rims i would like to use are 8in wide... and the back spacing is 4in...
