Just can not make up my mind which red to go with. Love the Porsche and Victory Red. Please help Forget the last two pictures. Have already taken a lot of parts off of the truck in this picture along with the pinstriping and molding, mirrors etc.
-
I always liked the victory red.
My thoughts are to go back with the stock two-tone.

I would ask what kind of person are you ? Are you the kind of person who likes to draw attention to yourself or are you the kind who doesn't really care about that ?
Now you are going to have to honest with yourself here. If you are the first one, then the brighter the more happier you would be I would think.
If you are the second one, then it comes down to you staring for a couple of hours at different shades of red tiles in the sunlight to determine the shade you actually like the best.
Oh course this is just my opinion, but I try to be honest and realist in the things I do, I try anyway.

Here is one of the other pictures I ment to post instead of the tire (twice)
-
Here it is a little bigger.
-
OK, try one more time I guess you have to click on the attachment to see it bigger. OK Sorry about that. I am slowly learning.

With the OE red you wouldn't have to worry about doing the jams...
-
I am not really worried about the jams. So far I am leaning towards Victory Red. I just love this color. Should I make it all one red or keep the beidge?
-
Color is too personal for me, but since you asked...
I always felt that particular two tone combo made the truck look dirty or dull or something. Reminds me too much of McDonald's for some reason. It just never did it for me. I think its the beige. I had a dually back in the day that was all beige and I always hated it. I'd go with the corvette red out of the choices you gave us.
Just my 2 cents

They are going to repaint the door jams, under the hood, Leave the insulation off. Will also paint inside the bed bc/cc.
-
2 tone or just one? or did i miss that

He was questioning whether to go two tone or keep it all one color in a previous post.
-
what did he pick lol
-
I don't think he has said yet.
-
I think I am going to stay with the two tone. OK guys, you know how this goes. "my wife likes the two tone". The more I think about it so do I. I do not see where a two tone would make a truck look dirty as someone said. As said, so far I am leaning towards the Victory Red and Beidge and so is the pole as of today. I can not believe only 4 volts.
-
I like the two tone with beige on these trucks. Even with a repaint they have the original look to them. Years ago one of my friends had a short box 4wd that had those colors except only the roof was beige. I always liked the look of that truck.
-
I like any of the reds. i like the victoryred , just not the beige. Keep it two-tone, but spruce up the beige like you're sprucing up the red. Find a beige that is to the old beige like the new red is to the old red (if ya know what I mean.)
If the reds metallic, make the beige metallic too.
I the same thing as you are talking about doing to yours, on mine. Mine was saratoga silver (Med. Grey) originally, and I picked a newer gray off a 2008 Chevy truck called graystone metallic to replace it. Just went wandering around new car dealers till i found one I liked. I don't trust paint chips, etc...

Well, looks like the Victory Red wins. That is was I really liked anyway and now I like it even even more. The OE Beidge is also getting a redo. Same color as is on there now. They are also painting the door jams and took all the hood insulation (which was falling apart) and also painting the underside of the hood Victory Red bc/cc. Had new valve cover gaskets and the oil pan droped and new screen filter installed and new oil and filter. (not fram!!) AC Delco. New Felpro gaskets under the intake. I ordered new seat covers and then I will be getting a new dual exhaust. I already have the Flowmasters 44's. A little here and a little there. Also new power window motors and door locks installed. New wiper blades. Thanks to those who voted.
