Hey guys,
So, I'm trying to decide on paint color. I think I know what I want to do though. I'm thinking a good two-tone will be the best looking. I don't have any better pictures right now, but here's what I'm working with. Without any of the trim on the side, bed liner, bug shield and smoothed bumper..

Is there anyone out there that can work magic with PS and give me an idea of what it would look like with this up top.

This down below.

With a tone split like this??

Any help would be great. I'm horrible with PS or I would do it myself.
Thanks guys,
Steven

Is the first color a candy apple red?
-
Both are. They're both House of Kolor products. Yeah, I know...Candies are hard to paint. It'll be a good challange for me. I'm pretty handy with a paint gun though. :)

I'll give it a whirl...
-
Here it is with the chrome, mirrors, etc. deleted (sort of a rush job)... I'll work on the colors next.
-
Nice. I like it already. If you want, I've got some better pictures of it. Without the lower trim, etc.

Sure thing. Email 'em to me. I'll PM you with my address.

OK, how's this?
-
Nice work! I like it. I think that's how I'm going to go with it. Of course it'll be lower with a roll pan. Thank you very much for taking the time to do that. I really appreciate it.

Sure, I'll PM you with my email address, and you can send me the pic. It'll take a bit more doing with yours, since it's so many colors right now... lol
My truck is a Cheyenne Super, which was the top of the line up until 1975, when the Silverado took over. "3+3" designated a crew cab, and suggested you could put 3 people in the front, and 3 in the back.

I can't someone would go to the effort & cost of a paintjob like that on hideous bodywork like on the bottom of that thing...WOW! Gotta be a put together "For Sale" job that someone is banking on a guy will buy it looking from the waist up. Lorne

I must not be seeing what you see. Pballin has done an amazing job with that. Take a look at his build thread. I think you might take back what you said. I would agree that the grass that he's in makes it look as though the body work is bad, but it's not at all.

Bodywork maybe wasn't the word I should have used: Poor panel shaping & fitment may have been better.
What I'm looking at is the gap/fitment where the Two doors meet & the "highlight" of the rolled edge of the rocker in the center of the front door compared to the shadows front & back of it...that bottom of the door is dipped in a 1/4" in the center portion. It's not "just the grass", it's visible in many of the other pictures depending on where the light is coming from.
I regret saying anything & apologise to anyone I offended...Really should have kept it to myself. I did look through the build & he has done some really neat stuff. Most of it isn't for me, but it is a slick looking piece...one of the best overall Subs I've seen.
Picture #387 concerns me though. Lorne

I agree 100% with you about the panel gaps and alignment. They could use a little tweaking.
