I've got a 76 step side and I have always liked the look of the 89-91 grill of the suburban. I found a 89 suburban on CL complete truck and would like to put the front clip on my 76. I would also like to swap the doors to get the power looks and windows, so my question is how hard is this to do and is their much fab work to be done? Thanks

Welcome from California. I prefer the look of the 73 - 80 fronts, but I know each has their likes, it is possible and the doors would be a great upgrade. The article listed above is a great one, and you can find all the help you will need here.

Worst of the fab work will be putting the hood hinges from the later model front clip into your older cab.
