Just got back from picking these bucket seats up today. They came from a 1990 Suburban. $100 bucks for both seats and the console.

The mounting tabs on these were slightly different from the ones I have seen posted elsewhere:

Anyway, I though the price was right. There are no tears and no stains. They look dark in the pictures mainly because of the lighting. Can't wait to get these in!

Nice find, you will enjoy them for sure...

killer find and deal !

Those are the Suburban Tabs for the seats. The others were the ones the used on pickups.

Real nice score for $100.00. Make sure to take pics when installed so we can all enjoy your find. ;)

That was what I was told by the local junk yards when I went asking for parts. Blame it on the Cash for Clunkers program. Killed a lot of the used auto parts.

When the price of steel went up during that same time all the yards around here cashed in and crushed everything they had. Then everybody became a junker and all the old iron seemed to get collected and scrapped. It's hard in my part of NH to find anything 73-87. I assume Maine is the same way bladerunner.

I would say it is hard. The attrition rate on these trucks in the northeast is high due to the rust and all. I have still seen some decent parts trucks around, mostly private sale, nothing at a salvage yard. The Burb these seats came from was actually in pretty decent shape. They guy just wanted the rear end for a mud truck, so he was parting it out.

Good find!
The mounting tabs you showed above are the same ones I have in my truck, out of another 90 burban. I took mine like you did too, cut out a big chunk of the floor and separated it at home. Seems like the ones you and i have would be sturdier for a bolt in installation.
People think scrap prices are high, when the dollar they earn is worth less. these are the same people who get an income tax return, and think the government is paying them yearly, vs returning to them what they overpaid.

Wow, great deal on the console & seats!
-
Any chance you bought those from a guy in Maryland? I was going to buy those but was a little late. I did buy the fenders and doors from the 90 Suburban and have them on my truck now.

Nope, Maine actually.
