I was under my dash investigating my non working high beams when I noticed this toggle switch. It is old and almost looks like it belongs there. I have tried flipping it with no noticeable change in anything. I hope someone can shed some light on this mystery.

I don't think that is stock, my guess is an old anti-theft system

almost looks like it belongs there.
Ah, No...It doesn't
-
No, it's not stock. The only way to know what it is there for is to chase the wiring down and see where it is hooked/not hooked up to.
-
Yeah well it was all so wrapped up I didn't want to dig around if I could get an answer as to what it was without tearing it apart

LOL It's the factory installed ejector seat switch for annoying passenger removal

I should have been more clear, when PO put stuff on these trucks, unless they leave a wiring diagram, or it is so obvious that you can see what they were trying to do, there is really no way to know what someone was thinking unless you trace down their work.

;D I just had speed racer flash through my head when I read that. I know, showing my age again. ;D
