Title: fuel pump

is this the right fuel pump .i thought that it supposed to cover the hole on the side of the block completely kie the block off plate does .if not what keeps trash and dirt out of un covered area .this was a tbi block but it was already drilled for mech fuel pump .it just looks funny to me

 Their is an adapter plate with a gasket that goes on the block before the fuel pump with a gasket.

oh ,will it still use a standard 5.75 length rod or it will need to be a little longer because of the plate .

Use the following or equivalent plate...

The pushrod should work fine.

The pushrod should work fine.

     Once again right on, also make sure you get it positioned right before you fire up the engine so you don't bend the arm on the fuel pump.
