I can't seem to find a source for a stock style shifter arm. The standard one that goes on the column. It's for an automatic transmission.
All the salvage yards want to sell them with the column only. classicparts lists them as applying up through 1980 (there's a difference?), but nothing newer without going aftermarket (mine's an 84)
Anyone know where I can find one? Installing a 700r4 and I'm not ready to go floor shift yet. This column had the stalk removed when a previous owner went 4 speed.

I know around where I live, I have talked to company's that rebuild steering column's and they had a list of suppliers. Have you tried this route ?

Another route to take might be talking with the salvage yards again and asking for a steering column that is trashed and see if you can buy the whole thing really cheap. Check bake74's idea first so you know what a new one costs plus shipping.

If your just needing the shifter stalk and pin I have one for you. Just pay shipping. I'm gonna trash my column anyhow:) hope I'm not breaking board rules...

Have you checked with your local Chevrolet dealer?
