     Not if you have changed spindles before, if you have not it is a learning curve but not rocket science.

They are not hard. I would suggest checking and replacing upper and lower ball joints while you are there. (not sure if I can put this on here but....)  look at www.73-87.com  go to the "garage" section then "chasis and suspension" then click on "front suspension rebuild". It has some decent information.

I recently did upper and lower balljoints using Sgt. Del's writeup on this site in the tech. section.  He forgot to mention removing the cotter pins and nuts from the balljoints, but otherwise an excellent writeup.  Once you have the balljoints off, you are just one nut and a couple of wacks on a fork from having the spindle off.  Use new balljoints for sure.
