Hello my name is Dustin. I'm new to the forum, but not so new to the 73-87 truck. My Dad raised me in a 82 LWB that we used to pull his racecar all around southwest Kansas, and now between him and I we own 5 of these trucks and no not all are show pieces in fact the 78 I drove to high school you can watch the road pass by through the floor board  ;D. Now I bought an 86 stepside when I graduated high school and it is not like any truck we have so Im just here to ask some questions, and get some ideas hopefully for the build. Thank you guys for a great site for us to get ideas from each other.

welcome....i went to high school in a 78 c10 Big 10 to but i didnt see the road thru the floor lol

haha Yeah mine was a big 10 as well, put a qt of oil in it every friday and the chrome wheel mouldings well the fenders and wheel opening are so rusted out there is nothing to bolt them too haha, but I loved that tetanus shot waiting to happen truck  :D
