Title: NP205 Rear Seal

how involved in replacing the rear seal (output shaft) in an NP205? im afraid when i get the housing off a whole mess of stuff might fall out that im not expecting.

any help is appreciated.

What housing?
Remove the drive shaft, then the yoke, pop the seal out.
Use a deep socket or nicely install the new one with a brass punch, put the cleaned up yoke back on with a some blue locktight, stake the nut with a small chisel, put the shaft back in.

thanks im gunna go do mine in a couple days,When i did my Front axel pinion seal,i used a SMALL amout of blue RTV around the seal

You shouldn't need any silicone for a seal.
When you do use silicone it should be the good stuff, not the blue crap!
