Can this be plugged without any pressure/cooling issues ? I don't want to hook up the heat yet(http://img.tapatalk.com/d0365689-5235-f4f3.jpg)

Oh also plug the hose off the water pump to...or dose it go to the Rad...and dont hook them together You might have cooling issues just block them

Sweet ! I thought so, just wanted to make sure:) the other end was going to the rad, but I have seen them hooked up to the water pump.it was leaking slowly... Dang aftermarket fittings. Thanks!

Ok... My temp sending unit is In the same port on the other side of the intake. now that I have blocked off that port and the one one the rad it went to I get diff readings at idle, cruise, and wot. Give it a shotmaybe yours will have the same response.and I have a new sending unit and temp gaugeand have checked for air pockets

I don't see how your getting a different temp reading by taking the heater core out of the system. With it in there, and the heat on full blast I would be surprised to see a 5 degree cooler temp reading. Most gages are not accurate enough to see that small of a change.
I also agree that plugging it is the better way, but looping it is no different than when the heater core was hooked up. Coolant runs through the heater core all the time, wether the heat is on or not. Its the air flow direction that gives you heat or no heat in the cab.
