Title: 250 I6 Head/Intake swap questions
Post by: Dcdoc45 on May 05, 2012, 03:00:24 pm
I have a 77 c10, 250 I6 w/integral head 55K original miles.  one barrell 1ME rochester carb auto 350 turbo. old non working/mostly removed aftermarket dealer installed ac.  (also custom deluxe trim).
I have a rebuilt 250 head, a stock intake, rebuilt carb and headers.  my question is when I swap out the integral head, will the stock/original pushrods work with the rebuilt non integrated head?
I'll have many more questions about this swap, please be patient with me as I've only worked on V8s.

Thanks

I believe Kapt koas has worked on I-6 before, try to PM him, or look through the signatures of others and see who list an I-6 in their profile and PM them.  Not everybody looks at every post, so sometimes they go unnoticed.

Pushrods should work.  It has been a while since I messed with them.  I sold the last 3 I had months ago.
