Anybody have any good references who have bought a motor from Scott Shafiroff before? From what ive read, they seem to have a great reputation, just didnt know if anyone on here has had any experience with them or knew someone who did?
-
How many comments have they posted, if they have a lot people thought highly enough of them to post, if not, then you are taking a chance.
-
Never heard of them. Why not post their website?

I don't see them registered with the better business bureau. What made you choose them?

the bbb is bs lol. i had a problem with a car dealership reported them to the bbb. they said they aint a member so they will just write a nasty review they will be on their record for 3 years. its not the bbbs fault but it made me laugh

That is what they are there for. I look up business's all the time to see if they are a member/ or have reviews. Not a member there is no corrective action that can be taken except a bad review. That only works for those of us who actually use the BBB to look up business's.

see i thought everyone did as bbb says or they couldn’t have a business. kind of like checks all ballances, but thats what i thought and i learned the hard way

Just from alot of research ive done online. I read alot about them in some forums for chevelles and camaros. Also videos on youtube. Just wanted to check in on here to see if anyone else knew of them...

Well the fact that they aren't registered with the bbb would concern me. I would choose a more reputable company.
-
Do you have any suggestions of reputable engine builders?
-
Where are you located?

I second this thought. There really is only a couple of reasons why a company would not join the BBB, and none of them are very good reasons.
-
i can see why a small company wouldnt join. but when your charging 32k for a motor i dont think thats a small company anymore
