Title: Center Band Molding Position
Post by: Edahall on May 15, 2012, 02:17:18 pm
I'm getting ready to paint and was wondering if anyone has the correct measurements to locate where the rubber molding is suppose to go on the side of the vehicle.  The factory job was different on each side.  By the way, this is for 89-91 Suburbans.

Yes,
I was wondering if there was any standard for this?

Yes, it would match the centerline of the rear piece that bolts to the bed corner and basically the bottom of the front turn signal.

Here is a visual...

Looks great. Did you paint it yourself?

Yes I painted it myself under that metal shed.  I also stripped it all down to bare metal.
