Title: leaf springs
Post by: coolcuz820 on October 17, 2004, 07:09:00 pm
I have a 79' C20 with 9 leafs in the rear. I was wanting a smoother ride, so I'm wanting to remove a few leafs. I heard theres a pin in the middle of the springs that I have to torch off to remove them. I don't have a torch, so is there any other way to do this? (saw, ect...) And is it a bolt in the middle or some pin I hear about? Thanx:)

The ones I have messed with have a bolt.  Of course removing springs from a C20 will not improve the ride that much.
