Title: No Limit Engineering
Post by: slammed79 on May 20, 2012, 12:09:07 pm
I was flipping through an issue of Street Trucks magazine and found out that No Limit Engineering has started making a rack and pinion kit for 63-87 Chevy trucks. Of course magazines rarely add pricing to the columns so I went to www.nolimit.net and found it in their store. The price is $850, which last I checked was signicifcantly less expensive than Flaming River's kit.

I wanted to let the masses know, this is a great way to upgrade your steering for a good price. I'm saving up to get this kit for my 74. And my past experiences with No Limit has found their products to be top notch.

I used their 4 link which required several mods to install correctly. We'll see how it holds up when I put the pedal to the metal but at this rate that won't be any time soon.

That is a viable option if you want to keep a stock setup, but you can buy upgraded full front suspensions for a little more from several competitors.
