I am planning on buying a parts truck and a suburban, to later become a parts truck. Would it be better to just scrap the shells and misc. parts or is there a demand for the shells since i will be using most of the of the truck? going to be using the doors, interior and engine out of sub. and the bed and front clip off the truck. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I don't know the market for this kind of stuff. Thanks

If you have the space to put it aside i'm sure someone would want to make a project out of it in the future.
I find that any parts I throw away, someone will either be looking for it shortly after or i'll discover a use for it. its a real PITA.

Where are you located? Are these shells rust free?

Depends on if you have space like Elpresidente said, also if they are rust free like slammed said you can get some money from someone needing a rust free shell.

After removing the doors from the burb, I'd mount your old doors on it with some matching keys, make the glass a bit more secure with contact paper on the inside, followed by welded wire fence screwed to the sheetmetal above and below the windows, and use it for storage space ;D

Thanks for the info guys. The sub turned out to be a keeper, cleaner than I anticipated. And the truck is going back to the owner when I get done pulling what I need off of it. Thanks again.
