Title: front coil springs

I have a 79' C20 and it has a heavy duty suspension. I'm planning on taking out a few leafs in the rear for smoother ride. I wanted to know if I could use half ton coil springs for my 3/4 ton in the front. I know it can go the other way around with swapping springs. Please help!? Thanks

Yes the springs can be swapped.
