For awhile now ive battled the idea of some custom door panels. Nothing crazy and nothing too far from the original spectrum. Im going to try and make a full length arm rest from a total of 4 door panels and make 2 good ones. I want my power window and door lock switches to be more modern and mounted perpendicular to the door panel itself instead of parallel and on plane. Here is my start.

I like this, keep us updated.

I like this as well. Can I assume that the piece in the picture has the section from the opposite door turned around? Pretty solid idea.

Yea thats exactly what i have so far. Driver door panel is the light blue. Took grey panel from passenger side and mocked together. Im going to graft the two together to make a symmetrical line all the way around. Then have the door insert cart piece run full length as well. Its going to end up a fiberglass door panel but try to look somewhat like it could of came factory.

Cool. What are you going to cover it with?

sorry for the long delay. Ive had alot of side projects going on. My plan here is still underway its just on the backburner temporarily. The idea is to fiberglass the full length concept all together then smooth it out and spray it. Ive battled the thought of wrapping it in fabric. but im not so sure that would come out good.

any new progress?
