i want to add power steering to my 79 chevy truck.i already bought a power steering unit,i was wondering what power steering gearbox do i need?will one from a 2 wd chevy truck work or can i use one from any gm vehicle(this is what i was told).i plan on doing this mod ASAP.thanx

Is your truck a 4x4, if so, then a 2WD box won't work, you need a 4x4 box.

Unless you know they will interchange, you need one from a 2wd pickup.
