Title: How much lift?
Post by: 87BigRed on December 06, 2004, 07:38:00 pm
I own a 1987 GMC 4X4 with a 305 and 1/2 ton rears. It has a three inch body lift with 35x12.5x15 Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers. It also has a suspension lift, but am not sure if it's a 4" or 6". Is there any way to measure the springs to find out? Any feedback is appreciated.

There is no 100% sure way to tell how much you have except to compare it to a stock truck and measure the fender lip height and subtract the amount of the body lift to get an idea.  A 4" suspension lift without a body lift will clear 35's though.
