do anyone know whats the best thing to use on aluminum pulleys and brackets to keep them shiny and not have to polish them so much .i think it will be kind of hard to keep them polished on my truck .i stay in the country(lot of dirt roads )

The problem with that question is I can not think of one cleaner that will shine chrome/alum that does not attract dirt to them.

What I usually do is clean them really well. Then throw a couple coats of clear on them. After it cures, a good auto wax works well to keep them clean.

Check out a local big truck shop. look for a spray aluminum sealant. I haven't tried it but the theory behind the product offers what you are looking for.

well i been on the computer and i ran across a product called white diamond metal polish for gold, chrome, alum, stainless.its what alot of truckers and motorcycle guys use .it works like most polishes but u let it dry before u rub it off .from the reviews it leaves a thin coat of sealer behind to keep it shining longer .sold at advanceautoparts for 15.00/12oz bottle.i know mothers mag polish works well but it doesnot seal the shine in .they also sell this in a handy little wipe to get into tight spaces
