See picture. WHat is the function of this lip-type thing at the bottom of the bumper? It looks pretty cool, I like how it gives the truck a different look. Where can I get one of these?(http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq344/sbx22/DSC_6149.jpg) Not my picture, just googled it.

Not sure if it's called the same on our trucks. But, it's a front valence. Mine had one when I bought my truck. Pulled it off though. I'd offer it for sale, but it's a but torn up.

help aerodynamics, improve gas mileage or so they say.

IIRC 73-80 trucks did not come with these from the factory, only 81-7s did and up to 91 blazers.
thanks

I would try to pick one up at a junk yard. I don't know if all the 81-87/91's came with them but I know the k10 I have does still have it. So maybe just look around for a used one at the yard.

air dam/deflector. if i can remember right they help will areo dynamics and thought i read once about it helping cooling i dont see how. but i read it once so it has to be true ;-)

It's an Air Dam, it's designed to help direct more air up and through the radiator instead of underneath the truck to assist with cooling. They really help for sports cars but I doubt very much for the truck (my 84 camaro had one and my 2000 camaro and my 83 silverado have them)
