Title: coil springs
Post by: coolcuz820 on February 17, 2005, 01:08:00 am
I have a 79' C20 and was wanting to swap my 3/4 ton springs for some 1/2 ton springs. I know this will drop it a bit in the front, but how much? I have 16.5 wheels with basic A/T tires. And was wondering if my tires will rub on the fenders when turning? Also i was wanting to make sure that these springs can be swapped, the deminions and stuff. Thankyou

my springs, that is. I lowered my 74 c10 about a week ago and have the factory 2wd springs in the bed of my pickup. You can have them for free. All I ask is that if you live outside of South Carolina, you pay shipping.
Hope this helps!

you can have my factory 2wd rear shackles. I don't know if they'll help lower the rear or not, but I guess it would be worth a try.
