Title: 89 v3500 exhaust leak
Post by: Osbornl1 on July 17, 2012, 07:01:02 am
So I did some exhaust work today fixing the cherry bomb on the truck I still have an exhaust leak from the passenger side pipe that comes off the manifold crosses under the truck and goes into the y pipe.

Can I buy this pipe and just replace it or am I gonna have to pay an exhaust shop to build one?

Also what kind of headers work with a stock height 4x. Shorts or longs? I got a friend that is trying to sell me a set of shorties.

Thanks

Larry

NAPA may be able to source the Y pipe, or you can get one built for it.

There is several post on 4x4 headers, have you search the forum.  This came up recently.  Generally speaking the shorties will always work.
