OK, So there is assembly manuals for 1955-1959, 1960-1966 and 1967-1972. Where is the assembly manuals for our trucks. I've been looking around and I cant find one. How in the world did the factories know how to put these together????

I can't remember the company's name, but I've seen manuals at local parts store.

Are you talking bolting the body together assembly? I dunno if there is such a manual, but there are Chilton books for these trucks, your local parts store should be able to get you one if they don't have one in stock.

OH, I have many repair manuals, a factory 1974 Service Manual, 1980 Electrical Manual, 1986 Electrical Manual and Chilton's and Haynes Manual. But there are no Factory Assembly Manuals.
I've restored a 1957 Chevy BelAir and a 1960 Impala the both have a Repair Manual and an ASSEMBLY MANUAL. The Assembly Manual shows the Assembly Line how to put the vehicle together.
I'm looking for something in a little more depth for a concorous restoration.

Helms Inc used to print the original. Not sure if you can still get them though.
