Title: Adjustable air shocks
Post by: 87GMC1500 on March 29, 2005, 11:23:00 pm
I've got monroe max-air on my truck and they need to be replaced. These shocks came with my truck when I bought it. Once I found the add air stem I filled them knowing I had to replace them anyhow(they're leaking oil) and now air. My question is, which shocks would be a good replacement and is it just my imagination that it was higher when I filled them?

I've got a 2wd and would like to keep the adjustable air for hauling heavy loads.

If you fill the air shocks up it will lift the truck up.  Any air shocks are going to be a good replacement.  Monroe still makes an air shock.

Thanks for the reply. I'll probably add them this weekend.
