My truck is a 77 K10 TH350 tranny...my motor i just built is a 350 (355ci) from a 95 K1500 1 peice rear main seal....I built my motor put it in with out bolting the TQ con. up and then got done with the break in and went to bolt the TQ con. up and it wont move forward...What happened i have no clue...is the 77 TQ to big to fit in the 1 peice rear main seal crank or what do i have to do????? here are some pics.......

Could i put spacers in there and longer bolts But only if i have a mico meter and the spacers are all the same with in thousaths of an inch right ??or no??

The snout of the torque converter may have some burrs or thick paint that isn't allowing it to enter the crank. You will have to remove the transmission and "test" fit the TC and see where the problems is. You can use some 400 grit sandpaper on the TC snout and smooth it until it fits.
I am assuming this is your original TC?

OK but the TQ converter will work for the new motor????and is it supposed to be that tight of a fit?

original as is Stock??? not shure,i bought the tranny out of a junk yard ($150 + my old one trade)and the guy said he thinks it was rebuilt...pulled the cover off and seen new valve body gasket so im thinkig he's right....the reason why it leaks is the dipstick tube..but i just got a new one and havent got it bolted doun yet...i gota get this TQ converter figured out...And also it shifts really nice with no lag when going into gear

Did you try to rock it forward with a big screwdriver between the converter and trans housing? Sometimes the converter will droop down (play in the bushing).

No just with my hands....i figured I'm Strong but painterly not LOL...ill go out side and give it a werl
