I have a '74 with the saddle tanks. I've found some hints around the web that the Dodge Ram Seats can be massaged to fit. Has anyone done a write up or had experience doing so? They appear to have nice high arches and feet without thick cushions so it appears possible. If I have to make brackets I will but any tech out there would help me decide if bidding on a set is worth the risk or not. Thanks in advance.

Nice looking trucks. Maybe the saddle tank hump isn't going to be in the way for them. It's so hard to tell by the pics though.

Apparently they bolt in with little to no mods. The mounting bracket fits our trucks if I remember what I read that right.
1hi4x4 covered it somewhat here. http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php/topic,12224.msg119823.html#msg119823

I did see a thread at some point in the past about cutting the rear brackets (i have a std cab LWB pickup) and they're nearly a direct bolt-in. I just can't seem to find it no matter how many ways I search. I guess I can just go for it. Worse case is I'll have to fab something up.
