I have a delco radio serial number 1046412. The power wire has been pulled out it looks like. was that hard wired in or did it have a plug? If any body has a wiring diagram or know what color wire does what that would be great.
It is for a 1986 c-10
thanks

up date i wired the 12v and memory together. I know it is not right be at least i have a working radio now. Now my question is is there going to be a problem if i keep it like that? besides for getting to turn the radio off and running the batt. dead
thanks

You are looking for a yellow wire. No problem the way you have it except the obvious stated. You could just wire it straight to the fuse box, ign. terminal but use an in-line fuse whatever the radio calls for.

ok
thank you

If you still need help, can you post a pic of the back of your radio showing the connector cavities, and another showing the harness plugs? For reference, the factory takes radio power from fused accessory circuit and memory from a fused battery source. But like Zieg stated, the way you have it will work.

i think i will leave it the way it is. from what i found on line i am missing a plug on the radio it self.
thanks again
