Title: Alcoa Rims
Post by: ssapach on August 11, 2012, 01:44:14 pm
A friend of mine has a 1987 Chev crew cab dually with what he claims are factory aluminium Alcoa rims.  He wants to make his truck into a SRW pickup in the future and has offered to sell me the Alcoas to put on my 1986 crew cab.

Couple questions.  First, was it actually a factory option to get Alcoa rims on these old dually trucks?

Second, what is a good fair price for a set of 6 of these rims for a DRW pickup?  They are in good shape from what I remember seeing, could probably just use a polishing to brighten them up is all.

Don't know if they came OE or not but you're not gonna find any better quality than Alcoa anywhere.
