ok guys and gals, I have a 1978 K-10 short bed, 350, auto. after numerous searches I need some help. I am trying to find diagrams, and or pictures of how the linkage hooks up to the Temp control assy? (not sure if thats rite, the main control for a/c and heater). when i move the controls none of my vents open, so i know i am missing pieces, i just dont know what they are. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

i think, that they are moved using vacuum from the engine... so there must be a vacuum leak somewhere..

The blend door (heat vs cold) uses a metal wire that connects from the conrtols to the top of the air box under the dash, the location selector(defrost, vent, floor) is controlled by vacuum.
What problem are you having, won't change temp or won't change location?

After further investigation, I am having trouble with the location selector. I know it is missing some vacuum hoses, but not sure how many or where they all connect. I have attached some pictures to show you all what i have going on. In the first picture there is nothin hooked up to it. does a hose hook up to this as well? and the door does not open and close, i assume it should move pretty freely? In the Second pic this is what I found hanging out in the bottom vent. and finally, I assume that i am missing 4 hoses off of the control assy, I know 1 hooks up to the bottom vent but what about the other 3? Thanks for your help!!

I am not sure what you are asking about in the first picture.
Are you wanting a list of where the hoses in #3 go? I thought someone posted an image of this recently?
