What color is the fluid?  Is it slipping?  When was the last time it got changed?

What color was it before you change it?  If it isn't slipping you should be ok...

Keep in mind if you just pulled the trans pan and changed the fluid/filter that didn't change all of it.  The torque convertor holds about 4 quarts just by itself...

Here its a trick I learned from an old wise man... Take off both Trans cooler lines from the radiator, put the bottom one in a bucket and the to one in a bucket of Trans fluid turn the engine on and keep filling the bucket up with Trans fluid till the bottom line is a good red color. Did this to my other vehicles its not to hard.

No prob. all you need is some hoseclamps and some hose. No need to pay a shop I if you can do it yourself
