I've spent the better half of the last couple of hours reading and I am yet to find the answer to a couple of questions. Keep in mind its an 85 c-10 long box 2wd and I assume the 5x5 bolt pattern.
1) I am pretty sure 15x10 wheels will fit just fine in the back, but am I going to have to put 15x8's in the front?
2) Its not really a question, but a) what are tire size options and b) and black wheel suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help

ive got 15x8 front and rear.will be putting 15x10 in the rear when i need new tires. gonna get 295-50. i dont know about 10s on the front
-
Is it lowered?
I have an '85 longbed standard height and 15x10's and 275/60-15 all the way around. No rubbing anywhere.
My '86 is lowered and i don't think the 15x10's would fit under it. I have 15x8 around it with 255/70 up front and 315/70's on back. front rubs a little when hauling it thru a dip.

I have 295/50's all the way around but they are AR rims and I think they have a different offset/backspacing. Although I am thinking about going back to truck or possibly the camaro-corvette rallies. I am thinking about the 10" in back and 8" up front as well. I will be curious what you find out.

No, its stock height but I want a little height without lifting it.

Sorry to jump this thread, but live85 do you have up close pics of the 315/70's and what brand.

Closer than this, they are BFGs

Thanks Capt.
That is for sure the closest picture I have.
I'll try to load a couple of angle shots.

Beater project. Wheels are American Racing, offset etc unknown.
15 x 10 all round. Now has 255.60.15 and 295.50.15. Came to me with 295 all round, but there were some rubbing marks in the front. Dropped spindles/springs and flipped rear.

Awesome truck. Those are 15 in wheels right? And, do you know the backspacing? What is your truck lowered front and rear?
-
Thanks!
Yes, 15x8 all around. Not completely sure of the backspacing, but they seem to be centered equally in and out.
It has a flip kit on rear, which i think makes it 6". The rear tires sit it back up about 1.5".
The front has 3" belltech spindles and yet to figure out if it's 1" or 2" drop springs.
It seems to total out, to about 4.5 front and rear.
I compared once to Capt's R10 for total, but I've forgotten the results.

Mike came by last weekend to help me get a visual on ride height for my Blazer since my R10 was stuck in the Fab shop. We put my 20's that are going on my Blazer on his truck.
What we found was he has a 4/5 drop on his truck. Here are pictures of it with my wheels;

i think we figured my backspacing was 3 3/4 on my 15x8's.
The 20x8.5's were 5 1/2 i think.

The Boss 335's had 5.670", I looked them up. :)
