Title: Getting back on board.
Post by: rs74 on September 03, 2012, 09:39:19 am
I just wanted to formally introduce myself. My name is Roy and I live in Marshall,Il. I have been a member since Dec 09 but just really started to get back into these trucks and this forum. I have an 85 shortbed Silverado 2wd and owned it since about. 1999 or so. I have put it on the back burner for a good while. I have had alot of newer vehicles since then and I am wanting to go back to the old.

I have two trucks that I am going to try to build if money allows me to. The 85 and also a K30 dually that I am trying to piece together. I have all new GM doors and fenders and a cowl hood for the 85 still in boxes that have been sitting for the last 13 years or so. I am in the process of selling off all my newer vehicles in order to buy a cargo van for my floor care business and the rest goes towards building the two trucks. I just wanted to share so maybe some of the members would know a little bit about me. I try to do what research I can be fore jumping in so I will have alot of questions along the as some of you may have already answered some of them .

Thanks, Roy

This is my arsenal as of now. First my 85 Shortbed Silverado, then a 85 K10 longbed (no title), and last is my 84 K30 (no title). Not very good pics but this is the best I can do unless I pull two of them out.
