It took me 6 hours to complete the tour, I even ate onboard the ship in the galley (WHICH WAS EXCELLENT FOOD)

The best part though was when I first got onboard, I was greeted by a WWII vet who was on that ship during the pacific theater in WWII. He musta talked to me for more than 30 minutes. I'll tell you this, he quit talking long before I got tired of listening to him.   
I'm proud I got to actually WALK THOSE decks.  I feel like I actually saw something that made a difference, and the fighting lady made quite a difference back in the day.

It's a beautiful ship and I love it and those who served on it.

If I can do it, my next trip will be to Norfolk, VA to see the USS Wisconsin BB-64.

I'm also trying to get my best friend to go with me to see the BB-60 USS alabama.
