Title: 1974 headlight and plug
Post by: spuds524 on September 20, 2012, 07:29:56 pm
I dont know if anyone has had this problem or if its just me. I recently went down to the local auto parts store and picked up some new headlights and went to plug them in and the plug just falls out as if the the prongs are too short on the new headlights has anyone ever ran into this problem?

Thanks, Justin

I believe the lamp terminals were longer at one time. If i remember correctly your socket has a hood arround it. I had to trim one off before to make it work.
