My 87 Scottsdale 1/2 ton 2wd is a light duty. I know next to nothing about suspensions, but am considering upgrading my springs. Where can I get a primer on what to do and what it will affect? Not looking to lift it unless HD springs do that naturally. If the rears are replaced, do the fronts also need replaced? Everything's original.

run big block front springs and more leafs in the rear. If your truck is stock height, then it should be fine. I may raise it up a little if anything.

I'm not real good at posting pics and stuff...It just never works right.

to post a pic, right click on the image you want to show and go to properties. You will then highlight the link, right click mouse again and copy. Off to the right of the reply box, you will see the image button. Click on that and another box will popup above. Right mouse again to paste link into box.

well whaddya know- even a blind dog finds a bone now an then... I had the pic on Webshots, but couldn't paste it until I moved it to cardomain.com. Then I was able to copy & paste.
I guess Webshots doesn't allow it.. Thanks mucho.

good deal......those look like they should work, but typically big block and small block springs differ.
