The temps are falling in NorCal and this might be one of the last reasonable weeks to work on my truck. I've been delaying some maintenance since spring for no other reason then I've been out chasing the ladies... The single life can be heck... but having a couple of Harleys sure does help.
Just came back from a weekend in Reno, NV from the West Coast rally call "Street Vibrations". Which is comparable to Bike Week in Daytona. Ended up having one heck of a good time and won $Six on the Wheel of Fortune slots. It was nice of the Casino to pay for my trip and a new rear tire and some other small goodies. Anyway, got back and the starter crapped out on the RoadGLide and the battery on the Deuce is dead. So really what better time to work on the truck then now as its my main way of getting a ride. Parts are due on Monday...
I saw a deal on a Grill that was stock and in good shape for $25 and its now in the garage. I really need to do some work on my truck with oil and filter change, fresh coolant as it does get down in the 40's here in the dead of winter. I need to refresh some weather seals as the driver's door leaks air above 20MPH and at 70MPH, I have to crank the radio up to the point that I can't hear myself sing.
My stock gauge cluster only has an oil pressure operating and I need to get something better in there. Just nothing so good that it grows legs...

Sounds like a good start..in the 40s? It was hitting high 30s at night three weeks ago here, and I had all my windows open in my house to save on a/c ;)

Getting cold? Funny. Snowed an inch today up here.

Its cooling off here to, I think it was around 70 last night. I've got a few things to do to my 74, most importantly is clean my k&n. I better do my heater core too, before it gets down to the 60's lol

ok... ok...
If it makes ya feel better... It snowed in the SF Bay Area about 10 or 12 years ago!!! I have pictures some where.
I didn't get very far as one of those 90 plus degree heat spell came through NorCal. I made it to the parts store and bought some stuff, but ended up hanging out next to the fridge with a 20 cold pack... that beer was so cold I had to wear a hoody in the evening.
I also bought some new windshield wipes as the sun can dry out the rubber in a single summer. But like I said... it was just to hot out to be working on the truck. So I have them setting in the garage waiting for me.

I lived in Sonoma when it snowed, that was crazy!
