Gents,
I have a 85 K10, that I picked up cheap a few days ago. Doing a clean up and look over of the truck today I noticed that it has a bench seat in it that bolts about an inch and a half in on each side from the stock mounting holes. Did the different years come with bench seats that mount in different spots?
I will post a pic of the seat tomorrow if that helps with identification.
Thanks

No, all bench seats 73-87 (91) bolted into the same stock mounting holes. The seat you have sounds like an addon someone put it somewhere down the line.

Definitely a different seat.

Those pics would come in handy if you still have intentions of posting them. I need to replace my seat, I'm broke, and looking for CHEAP options that won't look like crap. Steve

So are you saying that a Beach from a 91 Chevy truck will fit in an 87? Thanks for the help!

no when the 91 is in parentheses it is to state the crew cabs, burs, and blazer that stayed square body until 91

88-98 bench seats are narrower than our bodystyle. There are posts on the forum with them.
