out back i have hte 2" hangers, and a flip kit. BUT, i only have 3 leafs (ouch, i know, like it when i got it) so i don't think it's really a 6" drop from the flip kit... i still have the stock shocks on it right now, and it's a horrible ride, so i'm gonna buy some drop shocks for it, i just need to know if i need extenders too or just the shocks?

yah your gonna need extenders and an like the drop shock with like the bigest drop a flip usly drops the rear of your truck 5 or 6 inches

If you have a flip (5-6" depending) AND shackles (2") and 3 leafs (maybe 1/2") you have about 8" of drop.
Shock extenders will compensate for the flip, but I would check the dimensions for the drop shocks for extended/compressed before I commit to a general dropped truck shock. Chris Lucas

i just went ahead and bought toxic shocks meant for a 4/6 drop, and it rides SO much nicer now...BUT...8" rear drop does cause some serious problems
time for some cutting!
