Post by: jeffcevans on October 14, 2012, 01:24:43 pm
Okay guys so long story short.... while off roading battery tipped over exploded also frying all the negative wires from the battery. I have replaced the negative wires and the positive HOTWIRE to the starter and bench test of the starter yet still won't start. Any suggestions would help...

check the fusible links at the starter solenoid, junction block on the firewall and at the alternator.

There are quite a few posts on here as well with wiring diagrams. I would suggest you get a good battery hold down too if you're wheeling.

Thanks for the help I will post once I check them out. Also I have the battery held by 2 brackets and a bungee now. The shop who installed the new tranny disconnected the brackets and stupidly I didn't double check prior to hitting the trails.
