Title: 85' stereo issues

Just purchased my 1985 1500 and the volume on the stereo is really low even when the knob is full right. Any suggestions?

A bad antenna wire would cause that.  I have the same thing happening on one of my trucks.  Seeing this is your first post, welcome to the site from NW Indiana

Thanks. I literally purchased my truck this afternoon.  Really excited about it and hope to learn a lot from this site

Standard antenna is in the windshield and the cable wire from the radio at times is problematic.
