Will a fisher plow headgear off an 85 k20 bolt up to the frame of a 78 k30 cre cab?thanks
-
I am assuming you mean the plow frame itself, as the head gear is what the lights, and lift piston attach to.
It will bolt on, but you might have to do a bit of trimming to the plow frame around the bump stops, and were the brake like comes throughthe frame and connects to the flex line. I think they are in a shade different place between 80, and 81. I have put plow frames from mid 70's trucks on 81 and up trucks and had to trim them a bit.

Thanks. That's exactly what I meant.

You guys put plows on your trucks?
You do you use tractors for?
Pulling hay trailers?
-
Tractor plowings too slow, plus my 2wd ford spins too easy pushing a load as I haven't invested in chains yet.
-
The tractors are for moving the big snow banks when they get 5-6 feet high around here. ;D

Snow? That must be a whole different world up there.
I do feel sorry for you guys up north. We might see snow once every 3-5 years and even that isn't very much. Typically it's gone the next day or a day later.
I guess it balances out. You guys don't typically have the heat we have in the summer or the hurricanes.
